Sophie Goss recently completed a Specialized Honours, B.A. in Psychology at York University. After receiving her M.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto and working for a number of years in Europe and the Middle East, Sophie decided to return to university to pursue a career in psychology. Her research interests include understanding how to use and manage emotions through mindfulness-based therapies to build a fulfilling life. She is also interested in the cognitive neuroscience of emotions, suicidality, and how to manage emotion dysregulation within romantic relationships. Sophie is excited to conduct research through the TULiP lab to further deepen her knowledge in these areas. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling, and cooking vegetarian food.
