Nathaniel is currently completing a Specialized Honours B.A. in psychology at York University. He is conducting an honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Maggie Toplak, examining the metacognitive relationship between time investment and confidence during challenging cognitive tasks. Additionally, Nathaniel is examining this area of metacognition in individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the Toplak Research Lab, with the aim of uncovering a new way to operationalize effort and time investment in ADHD. Further, Nathaniel is interested in gaining a broadened understanding of borderline personality disorder and its impact on the personal relationships of those with the disorder. Nathaniel plans to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology and embark on a career in research and clinical practice.
