Danielle is currently completing her Specialized Honours B.A. in Psychology at York University. Under the supervision of Dr. Amy Muise, Danielle's thesis explores whether manipulating people's lay beliefs about sex influences the attributions they make for low desire in their relationships and how they navigate these challenges. Additionally, she is working on an individual research project under the supervision of Dr. John Eastwood, where she explores associations between ADHD symptomatology, functional impairment, and individual differences in the experience of mental effort in a non-clinical sample of young adults.
Danielle hopes to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of romantic relationships and dyadic interventions on various psychological disorders. Ultimately, she aspires to pursue graduate studies in Clinical Psychology to become a practitioner/researcher.
