Ava graduated from McGill University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She has worked at several research labs, including the Addictions and Mental Health (ADMH) Lab, the Anxiety Research & Treatment Lab, and the Healthy Eating & Lifestyle (HEAL) Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Apart from her research experience, Ava has also worked in various clinical settings. She served as a Patient Guide for an online transdiagnostic intervention at the University Health Network (UHN) and as a Clinical Coordinator at the Cognitive & Interpersonal Therapy Centre (CITC).
She currently works as a Research Coordinator at the TULiP Lab and as the Clinic Operations Manager at CITC. Additionally, she volunteers at the Anxiety Research & Treatment Lab, where she coordinates an ongoing study validating a novel measure designed to assess specific phobia severity.
Ava’s long-term goal is to earn her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and become a clinical practitioner and researcher.
