Wafa is a third-year student in the Specialized Honours BSc in Psychology currently completing the Counselling and Mental Health and Neuropsychology concentrations. Her main research interests revolve around clinical psychology and the research on the efficacy of current interventions available to treat post-traumatic symptoms and the ways they could be optimized to suit individuals from different cultures, backgrounds, and faiths. Moreover, Wafa is interested in the role of neurorehabilitation in treating cognitive dysfunctions which she is currently researching as a volunteer in the Desrocher Lab. She aspires to broaden the accessibility of efficient and sustainable clinical interventions on a global scale.
